After running her own business as a professional photographer for 17 years, Di dived into her new career as a Personal Trainer with a strong passion and drive to help others achieve their goals. Dale is a passionate fitness trainer of 10 years. Through experience he specialises in fat-loss and body transformation, using the most practical training and nutrition strategies to the mindset and identity shifts a client needs to make to get life-long results.
He believes people should be stretching their potential and limits through fitness. He believes we are all unique and have different setbacks and barriers which we need to challenge everyday to grow. My goal is to cut through the noise in the health and fitness industry and have the most positive impact that I can on the lives of the people that I work with; helping them become the healthiest, happiest version of themselves.
With a history in competitive bodybuilding, I am passionate about helping people find the right balance for them, which means they can enjoy their lives to the fullest whilst looking, feeling and performing how they want to. Sessions are uniquely tailored and designed to you based on your goals and individual ability. Tara started her own fitness journey several years ago, when she got fed up with being unable to unscrew the lid of her Nutribullet. Now she is deadlifting over kg and feels stronger and more empowered than ever in all areas of her health, life and fitness.
It is this confidence that comes through strength that she hopes to provide others in her classes. I am a PT with over 20 years experience in the industry across multiple countries as well as successful in competing on international and national level in category Miss Figure. His passion lies in managing chronic diseases so that his clients can achieve a less sedentary lifestyle which is injury and pain free. He mainly works with injury management, falls prevention and disability services specifically neurological, such as multiple sclerosis. He makes it his mission to research and implement the newest evidence based practice for all his clients, ensuring a safe yet effective consultation every time.
As an exercise physiologist, Tom is able to assist new clients with a clinical assessment to ensure red flags are dealt with, injury management pre or post operation, rehabilitation of an existing condition or condition specific exercise programming.
Tom loves all the members at the gym and develops a strong rapport with all his clients, so feel free to approach him in the gym for a chat at any time. I began working in a gym June because I figured if I surrounded myself with healthy people putting in the effort it would motivate and inspire me to be better. Three months later I did my first ever running event, the City 2 Surf and four months after that a half marathon — with lots of PT encouragement from the best boss, Di, who patiently ran with me.
Now my goal is to do a full marathon in September ! Exercise has been my best friend and my worst enemy since I can remember. As you can tell by the size of my shoulders I was a keen swimmer when I was younger, having the opportunity to swim for my county on numerous occasions. I had a period of sickness that led me to having to give up swimming. I have battled with my weight ever since. I really feel so much better after a workout and a healthy meal.
My partner is my biggest cheerleader who gives me the strength and encouragement every day to be the best I can be even if I am having an off day. I am a strong believer that positivity is contagious, and gym is exactly that. I began working at gym on a whim! I was unhappy with my current and needed something to encourage me to be the best person I could be! From a young age I competed in team sports, playing at state and national levels of netball as well as competitive swimming until I was My love for wine and chips continues on however the motivation of the Trainers and staff here at the gym are always so supportive in reaching my goals for a better me.
